Start your relaxing break with a traditional dinner in the hotel’s restaurant – one of the finest in the region – where you’ll be served delicious, local cuisine, featuring some Rioja-marinated dishes.

The menu will include traditional dishes such as pochas (Spanish white bean stew), a grilled meat board and homemade Basque cheesecake. Staff will be happy to recommend affordable, quality wines to accompany your meal, but please not that drinks are not included in the price.

Day 1

Head over to the modern wine oil spa, just two minutes’ walk from your hotel room, and step into the wine-barrel-esque Bacchus cabin, where you can enjoy a romantic bubble bath with wine extract and red fruit essence. Remember that it’s wine extract thus not edible, why not make the experience even more decadent by enjoying a bottle of wine as you soak?

Your Bacchus cabin visit will be followed by a ‘passion and wine’ body wrap for two, and a hot oil massage with red fruit and grapes in the duo cabin, adding up to a total of one hour and 10 minutes’ pampering (25-minute bath, 30-minute body wrap, 15-minute massage).

Finally you can have the tension worked out of your muscles with a grape seed oil massage with eucalyptus aroma, followed by a jet shower contraction and muscle relief, for another two hours and 10 minutes of blissful relaxation (90- minute massage, 25-minute jet shower, 15-minute muscle relief).

Day 2

You will have the day free to wander around the town and take in the modern architecture, visit some of the old wine cellars time to walk around the town and itsor simply soak up the surrounds.

Note that visits to cellars are not included in the price, but recommendations can be provided. Transportation is not included in this offer, and a vehicle will be needed to access the hotel. We recommend hiring a car from the airport or making arrangements with Taste Northern Spain to prepare in advance. The closest airports to Laguardia are in Bilbao, Vitoria, Logroño and Burgos.
