Taste Northern Spain have collaborated with the very best providers in the region to bring you, 3 nights in the heart of La Rioja, meeting the locals and discovering their internationally known wines and cellars.

Day 1

Arrive to your hotel in Laguardia on a hill surrounded by beautiful views to the wine yards.

Enjoy a traditional 3 courses meal in the hotel’s restaurant which is one of the finest restaurants in the region. Please note that drinks are not included in the price and will need to be remunerated at the establishment. So you can choose whichever wines you want or ask for a recommendation, without paying extortionate amounts for a great value bottle of wine.

Day 2

Visit a wine thematic centre and museum to understand how the wine is produced in this part of Spain and get a great idea of the area through a 4D sensorial experience followed by wine tasting.

Day 3

Visit one of the oldest cellars in town, where an English speaking guide will take you through the process of making wine step by step to finish up with a tasting of their own wine.

Enjoy a traditional lunch in the hotel’s restaurant. The menu will include regional dishes such as  pochas (Spanish white beans stew), grilled meat board, homemade Basque cheesecake (drinks not included).

Walk around the town to visit the magnificent Santa María de los Reyes church arcade and guided visit to the Rioja Alavesa wine tour cellar.

Day 4

Access the SPA and wine therapy, just two minutes away from your hotel room to enjoy a Wine Oil Spa Hydrotherapy Circuit. Relieve your muscles with a grape seed oil massage and eucalyptus aromas, jet shower contraction and muscle relief (a total of 2h and 10 minutes: 90’ + 25’ + 15’).

Note that transport is not included in this offer and a vehicle will be needed to access the hotel. We recommend to hire a car from the airport or making arrangements with us to plan the transportation for your group.
