Taste Northern Spain has organised this relaxing break especially for Golfing couples and partners who love fine wines. This weekend break includes a degustation menu and spa session which creates a perfect combination to relax in the beautiful surroundings. The hotel, in the centre of the historic wine producing region, Laguardia has a very special charm – perfectly combining modern architecture with its original 16th-century walls. Start your holiday with a visit to its restaurant, where you will enjoy a delicious tasting menu – which we have detailed below to give you a better idea of what is included in the experience provided by Taste Northern Spain.

The degustation menu varies depending on seasonality, but a sample menu might include:

Grandma croquettes
Artichoke crisps with shrimp and jamon
Roasted pear salad with gorgonzola, and dried fruit with balsamic vinegar
Fish of the day
Suckling pig with apple and potatoes

Tangerine sorbet
Chocolate coulant with Baileys ice cream

Day 1

Start with personalised breakfast at the hotel, before enjoying one of the hotel’s spa programmes – including a sensation shower, aromatherapy shower, Turkish bath, ice fountain and Jacuzzi. This one-hour spa tour will awaken your senses and leave you feeling refreshed for the day ahead.

Day 2

Enjoy a personalised breakfast at the hotel. This weekend break also includes a green fee for each person, so you can practise your swing at one of the area’s golf courses.

Note that transport is not included in this offer, and a vehicle will be needed to access the hotel and some of the experiences. We recommend hiring a car from the airport or letting us arrange transportation with you separately.
